  We booked the Burwell School for our wedding. The first visit went well. Natalie showed us the grounds/history, and gave us more info on planning the wedding at Burwell. However, after we dropped off the check, customer service completely changed. Natalie was extremely rude when we arrived one Saturday to check out picture spots with our photographer. She walked by us, slammed the door, reopened the door to peep out and tell us we couldn't arrive early. Actually she was the late one by 5 minutes. Rebecca and Steve were no better. Rebecca promised we could have a couple hours extra time the day before to setup at no charge. After the wedding they tried to charge us for these extra hours. Our wedding reception was ended early by Steve, who told a bunch of guests it was time to pack it up without our knowledge! Imagine our surprise when we suddenly saw guests helping us clean the tables and putting chairs up. If I were to do it all over again, I would have booked the neighboring Ayr Mount for our reception. They give you the whole weekend to setup and have much better customer service and an idea of the time and detail it takes to plan a wedding. It's just not worth the headache, bad customer service, and rush that The Burwell School puts you through.
